In the month of April 2022, we carried out the first pediatric health brigade and the recovery of the school in the village of Opogodó in the department of Chocó. In the framework of the #JuntosporChocó initiative created to generate comprehensive intervention and sustainable development projects in the territory.

The pediatric health day was possible thanks to the joint work of the Secretary of Health of the Mayor’s Office of Condoto, the Medicines Bank and the volunteer doctors Luis Miguel Sierra, Alexandra Salazar and Susana Saldarriaga who believed in the importance of giving priority attention to the children and young people of the community of Opogodó.

The brigade was a success thanks to the participation of the community, and in three days 94 children and adolescents between the ages of 0 and 16 benefited.

At the same time, thanks to the support of Rotary Colombia and Rotarac, we carried out a recovery day for the Manuel José Mosquera School, in which we gave color to its walls to give life to the joy and dreams that are built in this educational institution on a daily basis.
